Design instructor in the College of Digital Media at the Katherine Gibbs School in Manhattan. Responsible for designing curricula for Interactive Design, Web Development, Graphic Design and Information Architecture and teaching it to first and second year college students. I also freelance as a usability specialist and designer, and teach at a boutique computer school for professionals.

Information Architect
Performed task analyses, task modeling, and usage scenarios for Lante, an e-commerce strategy and technology consultancy. Developed the interaction design for various types of advanced transactions on our clients’ complex B2B sites, e-Marketplaces and wireless projects. Created information design concepts and solutions by via sketches, diagrams, maps, storyboards, and rapid prototypes to discuss with clients. Developed initiatives and strategies for new business development, frequently contributed to overall graphic design and production visuals. Helped to coordinate development efforts of 6-person team and acted as assistant art director.

Responsible for developing new business, marketing, research, public relations, consultant and project databases, and coordinating press contacts for this large, internationally-respected, architecture firm. Directed a staff of three in the production of print and electronic media packages, the preparation of complex proposals and bids, including 254’s and 255’s. Dealt frequently with the press.

Tibetan Government-in-Exile, Dharmsala, India
Fellow/Consultant
Won fellowship from the Graham Foundation of Fine Arts and Architecture (in Chicago) to consult for the Secretary of Housing in the Tibetan Government-in-Exile in India and study the evolution of Tibetan architecture in the Himalayan Diaspora. Also acted as architect for the government (prepared feasibility studies and schematic designs for offices and residences), taught architectural high-school classes and organized a traveling photography exhibit, currently on display in Australia and Asia.

Coordinated tenant architectural and project management data with lawyers, architects and developers on behalf of this large development company. Reviewed architectural plans, coordinated and scheduled consulting and construction work. Liasoned with clients, lawyers, tenants, and other developers. Worked with development executives on feasibility studies, contract bidding, authorizing payments to contractors, and trouble-shooting to keep numerous project deadlines on-schedule. Prepared architectural drawings and hired architects and contractors to execute projects. Assigned to special projects with heavy writing requirements, and promoted to manage highest-end properties within one year.
